Celebrating our success

In October 2024 we were honoured to be finalists in three categories at the MPA Queensland Awards for Excellence.

The awards are the premier showcase for painters and decorators, with entries undergoing a rigorous assessment process including site visits and judging against a set of criteria.

We were thrilled to win the Interior Exterior Repaint under $50,000 category for our Oxley project and finalists in Interior Repaint $25,000 - $50,000 and Exterior Repaint under $25,000 categories.

East Coast Painters are proud to be MPA members and understand the importance of belonging to an industry body who encourage and recognise the highest standards of craftsmanship and ethical business practices.

Charlton, who has held various positions on the MPA board over his 30 years of membership, said the biggest value for him is knowing that members get to make decisions on the future of the industry.

“MPA is our only true voice as a we are governed by an elected board, not one person,” Charlton said. “Being recognised in the MPA Awards for Excellence gives our team great pride and belief in what we do. It also helps to educate the general public about what goes into a quality paint job.”
